Dr Sassan Dieter Khatib-Shahidi is the Co-founder, CEO and since January, 2012, has been the Executive Director on Board of German Imaging Technologies in Dubai.

Leading the start-up of GIT in late 1999, Dr Khatib-Shahidi has created a highly-successful printing solutions company. Operating out of its Dubai facility with a steadily growing staff, GIT achieved impressive growth from inception to date, and grown its revenue by 18% p.a. on average between 2010 and 2014. In April 2015 he was selected as an Endeavor High-Impact Entrepreneur and became a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization, EO UAE.

Prior to joining GIT, Dr Khatib-Shahidi was Attorney At Law for five years at Heuking, Kuehn, Luer, Kunz, and Wojtek, one of Germany's top-ten city law firms and member of the Dental International Group of Law Firms, London, UK. He has also often been the source of legal and expert opinion on Middle Eastern laws on banking, arbitration, and investments. He has drawn on this expertise in his time spent studying, living and working in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. 

Dr Khatib-Shahidi obtained his law degree (1993) and doctorate (1996) (magna cum laude) from the University of Konstanz, Germany and was a Senior Associate Member of St Antony's College, University of Oxford, UK.

Mr Bernard Menettrier de Jollin is Chief Marketing Officer at GIT, leading the B2B expansion of GIT in the UAE and abroad. Bernard has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry, where he was responsible for customer management and outsourcing project management. Back in 1997, Bernard initiated and led innovative projects with the aim to help clients dramatically reduce printing, for their financial benefits and community’s environmental benefits. He kept championing for a better usage of natural resources since then.

Bernard has been working in the GCC since 2009, enjoying the multicultural dimension of the region. Prior to joining us, he was working with Bayt.com as Regional General Manager (UAE, Qatar & Kuwait) for the last 3 years. Before joining Bayt.com, he was associated with Aspire Academy Qatar for 2 years, with IBM Switzerland as Account Director for 10 years and with Oracle Software Switzerland as Business Unit Manager for 5 years.

Bernard has a Master of Science (Lyon, France, 1982) and a Master of Business Administration (Henley, UK, 2006).

Muhammad Imran is GIT's Accounts Manager. He manages all GIT company finance, and has, for the last two years, been responsible for the handling of the accounting department and for all inventory management and control.

Previously Assistant Accounts Manager with Sapphire Finishing Mills, Accounts Executive with Shafi Reso, Accounts Officer with Hi-Tech Poultry Breeders Ltd, and intern at Nadeem Ahmad Chartered Accountants, Pakistan, Mr Muhammad has spent the last ten years accruing an extensive industry-based understanding of financial operations relevant to manufacturing in both the UAE and Pakistan.

With his Bachelor of Commerce from Islamia University, Bahawalpur and Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) finalist from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. Mr Muhammad has added industry qualifications over his career that include a Certificate of Merit from Shafi Reso-Chem in Inventory Management and Control, and a Certificate of Merit from Time Lenders in Time Management. He is also a Fellow Public Accountant (FPA) from the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants. Mr Muhammad has successfully completed training on corporate governance for SMEs by the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Ms Dana Elena Musoiu is the Operations Manager of GIT. She comes with 15 plus years of experience in operations management.

Dana joined GIT from leading audiovisual communications company Filmmaster MEA, where she was working as Logistics Manager for the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Filmmaster, she was associated with Technogym Emirates – UAE for 9 years as After Sales Manager and with Clothing Development – Romania as Production Controller for 1 year.

She has received her Bachelor in Science in Economic Engineering from Polytechnic University, Bucharest, Romania.

Smitha D'Souza is in charge of GIT's Human Resources.

Ms D'Souza is a highly-experienced HR professional who, since joining GIT, has divided her time in the difficult tasks of balancing GIT's performance management, recruiting and training new staff, as well managing our employees and busily dealing with the host of daily HR administrative tasks that fall across her desk in the professional manner she always adopts. Before joining GIT, Ms D'Souza spent two years as a senior HR executive with Al Kanz LLC, and before that was senior HR manager with SDS in Mumbai, India, between 2008 to 2010 and in a similar role with Insolutions Global prior to that.

Ms D'Souza has a BHRD and MBA from Aloysius Institute of Business Administration, India, as well as a number of prestigious industry certifications.

Mrs. Rukia Kambi is the Sales Manager for Nairobi, leading the B2B expansion of GIT in Kenya. She comes with 20 years of experience in document management solutions.

Prior to joining GIT, Rukia worked for 18 years with MFI Imaging Solutions, where she developed expertise in Business Development, Account Management, Marketing and Customer Service. She brings a lot of wealth and experience, as well as the knowledge and culture of the Kenyan market.

Rukia has a Diploma in Business administration, Sales Management and a CAM Diploma in marketing communications from CIM.
